When Abdul Qadir al Jilani entered
Baghdad for the first time, the jealous scholars of the city
sent him a full glass of water, implying that there was no
room for yet another learned man in
Baghdad. Sidi Abdul Qadir placed a rose petal on top of the water without
spilling a drop and sent it back.
Whoever can hear these flowers, can hear his Lord, Almighty. These
flowers say: “You must be like us. You must be the roses in your community.” |
