Heiner Frei Presentation
Polarity Analysis in Acute and Chronic Disease – A precise Track to the best fitting Remedy: Basics, Cases and Outcome Studies
byHeiner Frei, MD
Center for Integrative Paediatrics, Laupen, Switzerland
Abstract
Polarity Analysis (PA) is the result of 30 years of homeopathic research aimed at improving remedy determination, making it efficient, more reliable and reproducable. Essentially it is a recollection of the ideas of Hahnemann and Boenninghausen, with one special addition: The calculation of polarity difference, that indicates how specific a remedy covers the patients symptoms. This is based on the grading of Boenninghausens Therapeutic Pocketbook.
The method is explained in the first part of the seminary, and we look at a number of acute disease (RSV bronchiolitis, bells palsy, thyroiditis, acute hearing loss and tendinitis calcarea). Then we solve cases together to aquire a basic skill with PA.
The second part is devoted to chronic disease. We look at the practical procedure and demonstrate cases of chronic sinusitis, atopic dermatitis, post-traumatic pseudarthrosis, rheumatic polymyalgia, self injury, periapical dental abscess and glomerulonephritis, all with outcome documentation by methods of conventional medicine.
We also discuss the evaluation of PA in prospective outcome studies about acute and chronic disease and multimorbid patients.
If time permits and a patient is available it may be possible to demonstrate a live case.
In order to follow the exercises the participants are asked to download a free testversion of the polarity analysis software a few days before the seminary (
